About LiveComedy.net
Great Comedy, Live and Local
LiveComedy.net is the official audience-facing website of Shaft Of Wit Comedy, an independent live comedy promoter producing events across East Anglia. Our mission is simple: to make outstanding live comedy accessible to more people, in the places where they live.
We bring the funny. You bring the laughter.
Who We Are
Shaft Of Wit Comedy is an independent, live comedy provider, founded by Kai Barron. We specialise in producing live stand-up comedy shows in venues, market towns and local communities. Rather than concentrating solely on large city venues, we believe some of the most memorable comedy experiences happen in intimate rooms, where audiences are close to the action and every laugh adds to the experience
Live Comedy Across East Anglia
We believe great live comedy should be accessible to everyone and not confined to the city or mainstream venues. No-one should have to travel far to enjoy a brilliant night of stand-up comedy.

Our shows take place in a variety of venues, including:
Village halls and community venues
Bringing professional live comedy to local audiences.
Pubs and intimate performance spaces
Creating relaxed, lively and intimate comedy nights.
Theatres and established venues
Presenting touring comedians and exclusive performances.
Market towns and rural communities
Making live entertainment accessible beyond the major cities.
Private, corporate and charity events
Helping organisers create memorable occasions with live comedy.

The Comedians
Great comedy starts with great comedians. Our events feature a changing line-up of professional stand-up performers, from familiar names on the touring circuit to accomplished character acts, alternative comedians and emerging talent

Line-ups vary from show to show, so check our individual event pages for confirmed performers, dates, venues and ticket information.

We also believe in giving new talent opportunities to develop and perform alongside experienced acts. A strong comedy night is about more than one headliner: it's about the whole line-up, the atmosphere and the shared experience of live entertainment.
