With a background in Mime and theatre, (and more-so telesales and hospitality) he started out as a street performer in Germany and took to stand up comedy in late 2002 in Bristol. He gained experience hosting and performing for Mirth Control across the South West Counties and had some notable early achievements in National comedy competitions.
A career as a teacher and a side-hustle as a comedy promoter ran parallel for many years, hosting regular shows in the West Country and more recently , East Anglia.
