A Small Village Comedy Club, With A Big City Vibe.
Welcome to Chedgrave Comedy Club, one of the longest running village comedy nights in Norfolk. Held at The White Horse, Chedgrave, just minutes from Loddon and within easy reach of Norwich, Beccles, Bungay, Harleston and Great Yarmouth. Chedgrave Comedy club showcases some of the biggest names in British stand-up, alongside the hottest new comedians on the UK comedy circuit. It's not your average village pub gig!
Established in June 2019, this Shaft Of Wit comedy's longest running monthly comedy club night.
The White Horse is a popular pub that serves Loddon & Chedgrave. It has a spacious garden, bowling green and it played a significant part in helping define the Shaft Of Wit Comedy brand. The friendly audiences support the shows and love the occassional buzz of excitement that comes when a well known comedian is booked to play.

The White Horse has plenty of free at the rear of the venue
accessed through the wall on the right if coming from Norwich direction/ or left just past the pub, if coming through Loddon
The White Horse is accessible to guests with disabilities. Wheelchair access is possible but please contact us before booking to ensure there is sufficient space for us to accommodate you comfortably Also contact if you have specific requirements that we may need to accommodate or be aware of. Due to the low capacity of the venue, it may not be possible to offer essential carer tickets for some events.
The White Horse has a popular restaurant that offers pre show dining with a full menu available. Occassionally there are 'comedy night special menus' which allow for a quicker service, ensuring you dont miss the start of the show. To book a table for a comedy nightpre show meal, contact the venue directly . Let them know you have tickets for the comedy so they can advise on the best time to dine.
